LITHIUM-ION BATTERY FIRES

The IAAI Ontario Chapter is pleased to announce our upcoming seminar focusing on Lithium-Ion Battery fires. We have an excellent lineup of speakers to discuss various aspects of lithium-ion battery fires. Topics will include suppression strategies and overhaul as well as investigation. This full-day course discussions include electrified vehicles and other stored electrical energy systems.

The seminar will feature the following presenters:

Laura KingNFPA – NFPA Standard 855 – Energy Storage Systems

Larry Cocco Toronto Fire Dept. Deputy Chief – suppression and overhaul considerations

Don Hoffmann Safety Engineering Laboratories Inc. – Lithium Battery design, construction, failures, and cause.

SEMINAR FEE & REGISTRATION:

The seminar fee of $195.00 + HST = $220.35 includes the program, lunch, and refreshments.
