I am honored to serve as the incoming President of the Ontario Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators. My name is Nicole, and I bring a Mechanical Engineering and Fire Safety background from the University of Waterloo, along with my experience as a Police Officer, to this role.

I have always been passionate about the intersection of technical expertise and investigative excellence, which is at the core of our work as fire investigators. As we begin a new year, I am excited about the training opportunities ahead and the chance to strengthen our shared commitment to advancing the field. Collaboration between public sector and private sector investigators is vital to our success, and I look forward to fostering partnerships that enhance our collective knowledge and impact.

I am eager to meet many of you at upcoming events and training sessions. Together, I believe we can continue advancing the work of this chapter and the field of fire investigation as a whole.
